My Financial Purpose
The purpose for your desired Financial life is an ever evolving and changing category. This is why every vision you have %%FIRST_NAME%% for your own Financial Life needs to be backed up by some very strong “Why’s” & “Because” to become a reality.
Ever since I was a young boy delivering newspapers I can remember my “dream car” being a red Ferrari with tan interior. I would cut pictures out of exotic car magazines and keep them on my bedroom wall. The moment came in my mid 20’s when I had the money to make that life long dream a reality. I went down to the dealership to pick one out. When it finally came down to buying the car, and I asked myself again; “WHY do I want to spend this much money for a car?
BECAUSE …” I didn’t have a good answer! I started looking at it from a different angle, and I didn’t like the amount of fuel they used (I thought it was wasteful even though I understand why they use so much), I didn’t like the amount of maintenance that was going to be required – I knew that I would not be very happy every time I had to take it in for a $1,000+ oil change (yes, over $1,000 just for an oil change and this was quite a few years ago) so bottom line was – I didn’t want one anymore.
If you did the quick “Dream List” exercise in the Overview section of your Abundance Blueprint (the download for this exercise is below in case you missed it) then you should have some things listed that will become your purpose for accumulating money. However %%FIRST_NAME%%, you may also see some items that will probably get crossed off because when it comes right down to it – they really aren’t that important in creating your ideal life.
To create real Purpose in your Financial Life %%FIRST_NAME%%, stop focusing on money itself. Instead, focus on what the money represents. Why do you want the money? What can it do for you? How will it change your life? One important fact to look at %%FIRST_NAME%% (and it’s why I started you off with this category of your Abundance Blueprint) is that having an abundant Financial Life can improve all the other categories of your life and make it so much easier to succeed in them. Let me give you some examples:
Your Love Relationship
Imagine romantic get-aways. Nice dinners, better experiences.
Your Family Life
Great family vacations, better education, improved golden years.
Your Health & Fitness
Maybe you want a home gym or gym membership with a personal trainer.
Social
A limousine for your friends birthday. That special gift or helping hand. `
Think about how your whole life would change if you manifested all your Financial Visions. Money can provide freedom, improve your quality of life, and give you many other options that most people don’t have in life. How would your life improve? How would the lives of the people around you; the people you love improve? The answers here %%FIRST_NAME%% are your “Why’s” to your Financial Visions. I’ll share my own reasons for wanting Financial abundance, and I hope they help you realize yours.
To get the most enjoyment and happiness out of life. To be able to experience everything life has to offer and be able to look back without saying “I wish I would have…”
To help me improve the other categories of my life without limitations. The ability to go the extra mile and get everything that category has to offer.
To create a custom built home here in the tropics with every room being special. The ability to see the ocean from every room. The downstairs will be open and all about fun and entertaining. The kitchen will be all about functionality and ease. The living room will be all about relaxing and unwinding – an escape from the world. The master bedroom will be all about love and romance. The whole house will be an oasis to anyone visiting.
The ability to help others and give them experiences in life they wouldn’t otherwise have to enjoy which will focus on traveling to exotic places.
To have the freedom to do what I want, when I want, with who I want.
%%FIRST_NAME%%, just about everyone I meet would like to have more money. Now the question becomes … what are you prepared to do to make it happen?
