%%FIRST_NAME%% %%LAST_NAME%%’s Personal Council

We all need someone to hold us accountable and make sure we stay on track to achieve our dreams.  Some of us have a friend or family member that can fill those  shoes for us.   Hopefully you have someone like this %%FIRST_NAME%%.

For example, back in high school, I had a friend that would join me everyday at a fitness club where we would play a game a racquet ball, and then afterwards go through a timed workout with weights.  We had a deal that we would call each other at 5am to make sure we were both awake and ready.  It was a big help on some of those days when I just didn’t feel like getting out of bed.

On my personal goals that don’t involve anyone else, I prefer to meet with my Accountability Partner once a week to go over my progress on each of those types of goals.

However, some of us don’t have such a person or sometimes we have something that’s private, and we don’t want to share it with others, but we can’t let that get in the way %%FIRST_NAME%%.

Friends In High Places
“Most of us ask for advice when we know the answer, but want reassurance.”

%%FIRST_NAME%%, I want to share with you a strategy that works very well for me.  With a little Visualization, you can get some of the best advice ever from some of the most important people in the world.  This can be used to help you with any question or decision you need to make %%FIRST_NAME%%, and want “someone’s” opinion or input on it.  It can also work when seeking advice to help you make any needed adjustments for you to stay on track with reaching your dreams.

For example %%FIRST_NAME%%, in my Business whenever I need to make a decision I’ll hold a meeting with my “counsel” which for me includes the following people; Jesus, Andrew Carnegie, Bill Gates, Henry Kravis, Lee Iaccoca, Richard Branson, Tony Robbins, and Warren Buffett.

Now these are people I chose %%FIRST_NAME%% – you may want completely different people (such as Steve Jobs) or you may not even want to use this strategy at all?

It’s completely up to you %%FIRST_NAME%%, but I’ll provide you with my example for each so you can decide for yourself.  I have their picture with a few quotes they’ve made so I have an idea for how they think which means I can visualize advice from several different view points.  As you visualize this more and more, it will feel like you’re having a normal conversation with the people of your choice that poses great wisdom and insight.  You can “talk” with one of them or all of them, and can get some great advice.

Also, when you have a decision to make, and you ask yourself; “what would (the person’s name) do?” you’re disassociating yourself from the decision so you don’t let your emotions dictate the outcome, but instead deciding what’s best for you.

I visualize whoever it is giving me 3 answers/solutions to my question.  If it’s a problem you have, rephrase it as a question %%FIRST_NAME%%.  You can do this for every category of your life.  Obviously these people are for my Business & Career / Financial categories so when you’re dealing with Health & Fitness, simply choose people that inspire you in that part of your life (it could be Arnold Schwarzenegger, Roger Bannister, Serena Williams, Simone Biles – whoever you want to include).

There are many famous men (Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, Mahatma Gandhi, Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison,Henry Ford, etc.) and women (Florence Nightingale, Helen Keller, Joan of Arc, Mother Theresa, Rosa Parks, Susan B. Anthony, etc.) that can be used if you decide to use this strategy %%FIRST_NAME%%.
