%%FIRST_NAME%% %%LAST_NAME%%’s Vision Board(s)
Using Vision Boards (also called “Mood” Boards) is a very powerful tool to keep your subconscious mind focused on what you want in life %%FIRST_NAME%%. As you maintain this Focused Visualization, you’ll naturally move towards it so you want your visions board(s) to be grand – think BIG %%FIRST_NAME%%. You don’t have to look at it intensely as your mind is always taking it in, and “seeing” it. You are never given the capacity to see something without being able to obtain it. As Napoleon Hill said, “If you can see it and believe it, you can achieve it” and the key here is you must also believe it. Too many times people create an awesome vision board with bold images of their wildest desires, but then tell themselves such things as:
“I can’t see myself ever making enough money to afford that”
“I don’t ever see myself fitting into that outfit”
“I don’t think I’ll ever get married or find the right person”
“Keep dreaming – I’ll never be able to afford a place like that for real”
All these little sayings of self doubt get into your subconscious mind %%FIRST_NAME%% and sabotage it. If your mind sees it, knows you want it, and has no conflicting information that you can’t get it (ie don’t really want it) then your mind’s natural job is to go after it. Make your Vision Boards work for you – you’re the Author of your story %%FIRST_NAME%%, the Director of your movie – so make your life a masterpiece!
Vision Boards can include all kinds of different items to trigger your mind, and these items don’t necessarily need to be on a board. Don’t forget things that spark your other senses like how something feels (some people like to carry around a lot of cash so they get used to it – it’s a natural part of their life. Here are a few examples to give you suggestions;
When Jim Carrey was struggling with Dyslexia, and trying to get his acting career off the ground, he wrote himself a $10 Million dollar check and kept it in his wallet. Later in life, he manifested that dream into reality with just one movie.
The author of “Chicken Soup for the Soul” was turned down countless times. He cut out the section of the New York Times best selling list and crossed out the #1 spot and wrote in “Chicken Soup for the Soul” in its place. It was eventually picked up by a publishing house and became a #1 New York best seller!
Most people that use Vision Boards have just one board that may contain pictures of cars, homes, places they want to travel, checks of their desired monthly income, and a number of other things. In my opinion %%FIRST_NAME%%, this can be confusing to see all these different things bunched together. I prefer to have a different Vision Board for each category of my life so that everything on the board is very specific and compliments each other. This works very well for me, and I highly recommend splitting it up, but see what works best for you.
If you don’t want to go all out with a Vision Board(s) %%FIRST_NAME%%, you can add pictures directly into your Abundance Blueprint if you want to add these visual stimulation’s.
I actually use both; I have personalized pictures in my Abundance Blueprint, and then my Vision Board is electronic. I have a collage of pictures for each category that I have on a small zip drive so I can plug it in & display on any TV, Computer, etc. I hope this little tip helps you %%FIRST_NAME%%!
